Chef Hannah!

Thanks for stopping by Hungry Hannah! I’m just a 25 year old girl who loves food and loves to cook. I have my Bachelor’s degree in biology and work at a children’s hospital during the week, but spend much of my spare time in my kitchen cooking up new recipes, browsing food blogs, or watching Food Network. I live just outside of Boston, Massachusetts with two good friends from college who I sometimes force-feed my food to. (Love you guys!)

Growing up with a true foodie for a dad, and a mom who was frequently cooking us fresh meals, it seemed inevitable that I would eventually become a foodie myself. In high school and college, I was really into photography and when I began to develop my love for cooking, the natural thing seemed to be to start a food blog.

I aim to post fresh and lighter recipes on this blog, but if I find or create a recipe I really love, I will probably post it no matter how many calories it has. Food is a great way to bring people together and knowing how to cook is a great skill to have, no matter your age or background!

  3. So I made your Asian Sesame Salmon last night for the family. This was the first time I ever had salmon let alone cook it. My husband thought it was so funny that a 30 something year old never had salmon before, but I’m picky about my fish. It was so good, even my 10 year old daughter finished it wanting more. Will be making it again, it was so easy. Thanks for posting the recipe and cannot wait to try your Mongolian Beef! So glad I found your blog!

    • Hi Vanessa, thanks for your comment! I’m so glad you and your family enjoyed the salmon. I love Asian-inspired recipes and find that the salmon really shines with a teriyaki-type sauce. Mongolian Beef is one of my favorite meals – hope you enjoy!
